Welcome to CurioCorner

Why I Started CurioCorner

There are two big reasons this site exists:

  1. Learning shouldn’t feel locked away I’ve always struggled with “traditional” learning methods. So much knowledge is hidden behind paywalls, or explained in ways that assume you already know everything. And when you’re new, people can be… less than kind. CurioCorner is my way of pushing back against that. I wanted a place where beginners — including me — can learn without judgment.
  2. I love building tools that help people When I started transitioning and learning to code around the same time, those two journeys blended together. I began making small apps to practice, and realized they were genuinely useful. If they helped me, maybe they could help others too. That’s what led to Bloom and Bunny‑Box — two projects that grew far beyond “practice” and became real tools people can use every day.

Bloom & Bunny‑Box Are Now Part of CurioCorner I’ve embedded both apps directly into CurioCorner so everything lives in one place:

🌸 Bloom — Holistic Wellness Tracker

A privacy‑first, on‑device wellness app built for people on HRT. It helps track medications, emotional and physical changes, journaling, milestones, cycle data, and more — all without accounts or cloud storage. I added Bloom here because I wanted a safe, supportive tool for anyone navigating their transition, especially those who need privacy and calm.

🐰 Bunny‑Box — Multi‑Purpose Utility Toolkit

A playful, local‑only toolkit with calculators, text tools, learning helpers, randomizers, and game stats. I added Bunny‑Box because I wanted everyday tools that are fast, accessible, and don’t track you — something useful for students, gamers, and curious minds alike. Both apps share the same values as CurioCorner: privacy, accessibility, clarity, and kindness.

Values • Accessibility: no paywalls, no accounts, no analytics • Clarity: simple explanations, beginner‑friendly language • Kindness: no condescension, no gatekeeping • Privacy: everything stays on your device • Community: feedback and ideas are always welcome
